Poker League Overview:

Poker Source Online is excited to announce our third poker league. This poker league will be very similar to our last league except there will not be weekly championship events. This will cut down on the length of the events and allow more people to play. Over the course of the 5-event league you can choose to play in as many, or as few events as you wish. Each week you will simply earn points for your country based on your finish, and have an opportunity to earn PSO Points along the way for yourself.

Here is how it will work. Each week there will be a standard $5+$1 Multi-Table Tournament (MTT) with Absolute Poker's standard MTT prize pool distribution (plus bonus PSO points). The top 9 finishers will earn points for their country and bonus PSO points for themselves. The first country to reach 178 points wins and will be deemed the best poker playing country. Of course, Canada is defending her title.

Weekly Tournament Point Structure:

1st Place = 21 Points
2st Place = 16 Points
3rd Place = 11 Points
4th Place = 8 Points
5th Place = 5 Points
6th Place = 4 Points
7th Place = 3 Points
8th Place = 2 Points
9th Place = 1 Points

First Team to 178 points wins!
PSO Bonus Points:

1st Place = 5000 PSO Points
- Plus a 300 11.5g dice, 11.5g suited, 9g Las Vegas Chipset
2st Place = 3000 PSO Points
- Plus a 300 11.5g dice, 11.5g suited, 9g Las Vegas Chipset
3rd Place = 2000 PSO Points
- Plus a 300 11.5g dice, 11.5g suited, 9g Las Vegas Chipset
4th Place = 2000 PSO Points
5th Place = 1500 PSO Points
6th Place = 1000 PSO Points
7th Place = 1000 PSO Points
8th Place = 1000 PSO Points
9th Place = 1000 PSO Points

Rules / Terms:

You must have a REAL money Absolute Poker account. It does NOT matter if you created that account through one of the PSO websites. Anyone with a REAL money Absolute Poker account is welcome to play!
Buy-ins for each Multi-Table Tournaments is $5 + $1.
Prizes will be distributed directly to your Absolute Poker account each week in accordance with Absolute Poker's standard tournament payouts.
Each tournament will be No-Limit Texas Hold'em.
You must register for the PSO Poker League BELOW even if you only want to play in one tournament. You only need to register once and registration is free. You do not need to register again if you registered for the previous league.
Each tournament will show up in the Absolute Poker lobby about 24 hours before the event starts. It is your responsibility to register for EACH tournamnet you want to play in BEFORE the tournament starts.
